Bringing Up Bates fans agree Carlin Stewart can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to her own health. The former reality TV star took to her Instagram a few hours ago to reveal she was suffering from a “new” health issue. The Bringing Up Bates star clarified it wasn’t the first time she’s had a problem with this health issue. So, she was pretty sure she caught it early and knew what was going on. What health problem does Carlin Stewart Bates have going on now?
Bringing Up Bates: Carlin Stewart can’t catch a break
On Reddit, Bringing Up Bates fans are in agreement that Carlin can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to her health. Carlin took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she was pretty sure she had mastitis developing in her left breast. Initially, she posted what she thought was happening and asked for help from other mothers that follow her. An hour later, she posted again thanking her followers for tips. She also reassured her followers she did reach out to her doctor about the situation.
Carlin Stewart Bates explained that when Layla was little, she had a really bad case of mastitis. She remembered the condition being painful and uncomfortable. Now, she believes she has caught it again. Just a little earlier this time because she was familiar with it.
The Bringing Up Bates star tells her followers that her doctor agreed with what she had to say about having mastitis. So, her doctor decided to go ahead and call in a prescription. Her doctor hoped catching and medicating it quickly would prevent it from getting worse.
What is mastitis, anyway?
According to the Mayo Clinic, mastitis is defined as “an inflammation of breast tissue that sometimes involves an infection.” The most common symptoms of this condition are breast pain, swelling, warmth, and redness. Individuals suffering from mastitis may also experience fevers and chills. Typically, this condition plagues women who are currently breastfeeding.
Carlin Stewart Bates shared a video of her family driving to the pharmacy to pick up the medication. She later posted again confirming she got her medication and would be taking proper care of herself.
Bringing Up Bates fans hope Carlin Bates is able to get her health sorted as they know she’s been struggling for a while.
