If you follow Carlin on social media or watch her family’s videos on YouTube, you may know that she is dealing with seizure-like episodes. At this point, she still doesn’t have answers, despite many trips to the emergency room, tests, and appointments.
From what fans have seen on social media, it looks like Carlin’s episodes may be getting worse. She typically passes out and falls during these episodes. One fall even led to a concussion. This is all very concerning to her followers.

Bringing Up Bates Fans Wonder If She’s Being Reckless
Amid her health concerns, fans are beginning to wonder if she’s living her life too recklessly. On Reddit, one fan mentioned that Carlin said she would be visiting her sister, Katie Clark, in New Jersey soon. Katie is expecting her first baby and has a gender reveal planned for next month.
The fan wonders if it would be better for Katie to go to Tennessee where most of the family lives. Other fans chime in and say that her having a seizure in the airport or on the plane sounds awful.
One Bringing Up Bates fan believes that Carlin traveling and staying busy is making her seizures worse. The fan says:
“If Carlin flies to New Jersey for a stupid gender reveal, she’s an even bigger moron than I thought. She’s had seizures as soon as she gets home from every trip. Obviously the flying, running around and exhaustion is triggering something, but God forbid Carlin exhibit an ounce of common sense.”
Fans have noticed that Carlin seems to be living her life as if nothing is wrong. She’s still traveling, working, caring for her kids, and more. While some fans think she should slow down, others point out that the doctor wants her to live her life normally to see what triggers the episodes.
