‘Today’ Hosts Hoda Kotb & Carson Daly Mock Savannah Guthrie?

Today host Hoda Kotb was called one of the nicest people on set. However, she got shady with her fellow co-host Carson Daly. They apparently mocked Savannah Guthrie, who has been away from the show. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Hoda seized the moment while Savannah is on another break.

Where’s Savannah Guthrie?

Fans have been wondering where Savannah Guthrie has been lately. Hoda Kotb has been fronting the morning show without her. She shared a personal update on Instagram. The Today Show co-host announced that she took her kids to a water park. At first, Jenna Bush Hager was the one who made a snarky joke about Savannah’s whereabouts.

She wanted to know “where this magical place” was because she’s never been there. Some fans took offense at Jenna’s comment. They told her to be nice. Jenna fired back, saying that it was “just a joke.”

This comes as Savannah admitted that she enjoys staying at home with her family. She gave fans a sneak peek of the Fall 2022 issue of The Home Edit. Savannah’s pantry was organized and color-coded. All of her snacks and items were organized in the colors of the rainbow, which made for an aesthetically-pleasing photo for Instagram.

“Every time I open a cabinet or drawer, I feel a little flood of relief and joy,” Savannah told The Home Edit. “The freezer was absolutely like a cold trash can. Things got thrown in there, and it was like an archaeological expedition to go in and clean it out.”

Hoda Kotb is also on the covers of magazines. Last week, she graced the cover of the previous issue of People. She spoke to the publication about finding love again after her split with Joel Schiffman. Hoda also shared a desire for adopting another child in the near future.

On the Tuesday, August 23 broadcast of Today, Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly seemingly threw jabs at Savannah. Both of them mocked her as she’s been away. It took place in Today’s “Pop Star” segment, where the co-hosts discuss pop culture topics. Carson said that Savannah Guthrie is on the cover of the fall issue of The Home Edit.

The Voice emcee showed the cover to the viewers at home. He also flipped through the magazine to show the photos of Savannah’s NYC apartment and “kitchen makeover.” Fellow co-host Craig Melvin joked that she’s a “legit cook now.” He further explained: “If your kitchen’s featured in a magazine, you’re legit.”

Hoda Kotb asked: “Does that mean you have talent?” She appeared to throw some jabs at Savannah. Carson chimed in and joked: “Yeah, she uses knives and stuff. She knows where they are.” Funnyman Al Roker joined in on the fun with another jab: “Yeah, she’s boiling water… look out!”
