Rachael Kirkconnell Frustrated With Sports Announcer, Why?
One sports announcer is under fire from a popular Bachelor Nation alum. Rachael Kirkconnell is not happy after a weekend at a basketball tournament. Keep reading to find out what happened.
Rachael Kirkconnell upset at announcer
US Weekly shared what Rachael Kirkconnell had to say about why she was upset with a sports announcer over the weekend. Rachael and Bachelor Matt James have worked hard to get their relationship to a great spot. In fact, they are very happy together.
However, it seems the sports announcer at the Monster Energy Big3 Celebrity Game in Atlanta did not do their Bachelor research. It seems the announcer kept saying that Matt is a single man.
Rachael went to Instagram to slam the announcer and make it known that Matt is hers. She said, “Anytime Matt would do something, announcer: ‘Ladies, he’s single.’” She continued, “Like what?!!?! literally a good 10 times.”
Apparently, nobody set the announcer straight after the first few times.
However, based on her other Instagram stories over the weekend, Rachael still had a great time. She and Matt both shared videos from the event.
Their relationship
Rachael and Matt have a very strong and solid relationship. In fact, Matt has recently said that he wouldn’t be in a relationship if he didn’t see marriage as a possible end result. He said everything about their relationship is on the table, including finally moving to the same city and also marriage.
For her part, Rachael has said she has placed no timelines on their relationship. The only thing she has told him is that he needs to consider that she wants kids before she can’t have kids.
Of course, fans know the happy couple met while Matt was The Bachelor. The two hit it off and he did choose her at the final rose ceremony.

However, things went south for a bit when old photos of Rachael surfaced that caused a reaction among many. There were many who felt Rachael was being racist. In fact, it was because of this entire situation that Chris Harrison is no longer with the franchise.
Things were tense between Rachael and Matt for some time. However, they worked through it all and are in a wonderful place together.
The future looks bright for this happy couple.
