Scheana Shay and Brock Davies first started dating in 2019. The Bravo star met the fitness fanatic through a friend. One of their magical dates included a trip to Bali, where they originally intended to get hitched. Their relationship quickly went to the next level when they lived together at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Brock was introduced to viewers during Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. However, Brock didn’t receive a warm reception from the cast members or fans. Some had reservations about their relationship since he had kids from a previous relationship. Lala Kent was the most outspoken about it throughout the season and at the reunion.

Brock admitted that he assaulted his ex and that he failed to pay child support at the time. He was determined to get back on his feet. Scheana Shay’s man proved himself earlier this year. Since launching his fitness mobile app, he paid back the child support he owed.

On the show, he proposed to Scheana Shay at their Los Angeles home. Brock’s initial plans were to get engaged and married on the same day during a phony red-carpet event. When it came to costs, he couldn’t fork over the money. The couple eventually settled on a destination wedding after filming the series.

In an exclusive interview with People, Scheana Shay shared the details of her dream wedding. She feels that this was the kind of nuptials they both wanted. The two wanted those closest to them by their side. Scheana was so happy to invite “all of our friends and family to celebrate us.”

Their goal was just to “have a good time with every person who is important to us.” That included some of their Pump Rules cast members, including Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss, who were in the bridal party. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz served as Brock’s groomsmen.

The couple’s daughter Summer Moon served as the flower girl. She was preparing for this part for a long time. Scheana told People that they had four venues in mind before choosing the Dreams Natura Resort & Spa. It had everything they wanted for their dream wedding.

“They had everything I wanted: the glass platform over the pool, a lazy river, a little waterpark,” Scheana Shay explained to People. “It was family-friendly and it just felt right. We needed something that would be good for her and also fun for our guests.”

More about the wedding they “deserve”

Many of their friends and family flew to Cancun for the special day. Scheana Shay made sure to include Brock’s family from Australia. The couple finally got the nuptials they felt they “deserved.”

“The fact that that many people came on vacation with us is so cool,” Scheana Shay told People. “I feel like it’s a small wedding in scale, but it’s big for a destination. I want this special moment. Brock deserves this. We deserve this.”

They had to scale back this time around. They didn’t even focus on the wedding cake, which was carrot cake. Scheana Shay wore a custom-designed gown by Pol’ Atteu and changed into a short dress for the reception.

What’s next for Scheana Shay & Brock Davies?

Brock says honeymoon plans will include “crystal blue waters.” Scheana Shays says they can now focus on growing as a married couple. That could include growing their family.
