“Sometimes relationships evolve. Sometimes perfectly nice people go their separate ways,” Hoda Kotb said in the latest issue of People. “Sometimes a relationship ends on your last breath, and sometimes it ends before that, and that’s okay.”

Nothing terrible led to their breakup. In fact, the Today co-host says the two are still on good terms. Hoda learned not to “regret” anything that happens in her life. She said that they get to “share these beautiful daughters.”

“I don’t regret one day, not one minute, not one second of our time together because it brought me here,” Hoda Kotb said. “I have two incredible children I share with him.”
