“We’re delighted that the 25th anniversary of this landmark incarnation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is being celebrated on its original network,” Imogen Lloyd Webber, SVP at Concord Theatricals told Entertainment Weekly. “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s unforgettable score is truly timeless — still enchanting listeners 80 years after their partnership began and 65 years since their Cinderella first charmed the largest audience in television history.”

This new role comes after her time on The View. Many fans have taken to social media to call for her firing. In the past week alone, Whoopi’s made many blunders. She even feuded with her co-hosts on more than one occasion.

  1. Leave Whoopi alone, she’s great. All the ladies are great!!! You can’t get upset with controversy!! That’s what the show is about! Everybody giving their own opinions about today’s topics!!! Leave them be!! They do great better than wrong!!!!

  2. There is a reason they call it the “VIEW”. Everyone is allowed the RIGHT to have a view or opinion without being fired! How stupid!

  3. I think the whole show should be fired. I’ve never heard such ignorance in my life, and I am old, so I have seen a lot. The show went down hill when Barbara Walters left.
I am glad Whoppie got the role for Cinderella. This is her thing and she should stick to this. She is a wonderful actor and very funny

  4. She should be fired because she is a loud-mouthed, unpleasant person with extremist views, who tramples on and stifles others’ speech
