Ryan admitted to his guest co-host Carson Kressley that his fly was open. The Queer Eye alum joked that Ryan was just “happy” to see him.

Live With Kelly and Ryan camera crew in shock over fashion choice

Just a day after Ryan Seacrest suffered a wardrobe malfunction on live television, he walked out on the set of Live With Kelly and Ryan in gray schoolboy shorts. Ryan paired the look with a matching blazer and a navy blue T-shirt. Before he sat down, he gave the audience a good look at his muscular calves.

He made sure the cameras got a glimpse at his legs. Kelly Ripa was absent from the talk show once again. Fans have been wondering where she went. Last Friday, she shared an “inside joke” with her co-host. She said that she wouldn’t return on Monday if she won the lottery.

Ryan Seacrest has been holding down the fort with celebrity guest hosts. Ali Wentworth filled Kelly’s spot on Wednesday’s broadcast. Ali was dressed in a blue and white paisley print dress while Ryan showed off his legs in the shorts. The audience hollered at him and he said, “Thank you.”

Ali asked the camera to get a full look at his outfit. Ryan admitted that he surprised them. Ali admitted that she loves “shorts, loafers, and a jacket.” Ryan joked that he wore his “summer suit” to “celebrate Ali Wentworth here.”

Ryan Seacrest wants to stay cool this week

Ali said that she wants to see her husband George Stephanopoulos in a suit like that. Ryan Seacrest said he’s trying to stay cool as the temperatures in New York City rise once again. He admitted that fashion designers are making these suits “because the planet is warming” and it’s “so hot outside.”

“The reason I put this on is that I was waiting for a special occasion. And the weather,” Ryan Seacrest explained. “I read an article that shorts are the new skirt and so skirts are out and shorts are in for everybody.”

Ali admitted that he looked “very dapper.” In another segment, Ryan and Ali read fan mail. One mentioned that his shorts aren’t flattering, while another said he should wear a skirt instead. However, most fans on Twitter liked Ryan’s short suit.
