‘Today’ Host Hoda Kotb Says Savannah Guthrie Is ‘Naughty’
Today is no doubt the most watched morning news show in the country, and lately, fans have been interested in the ongoing feud between two of its hosts. Things haven’t been right between hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie. And the former recently admitted that she is scared of being fired because of her co-star.

But what is this feud all about? Rumors of a squabble between Hoda and Savannah started to surface after an awkward interaction between the two. During the July 15 episode, Savannah was preparing a salad with a cookbook author Elizabeth Heiskell in a cooking segment. As Hoda interrupted the two asking if they were finished, Savannah seemed annoyed.

She responded, “Yeah, that’s it. Moving on. We’ll just move on; we don’t have time for all that.”
Although the incident was an awkward one, it is hardly proof that the co-stars are feuding. However, this latest statement by Hoda might just as well confirm the same.
Today Host Hoda Reveals She Is In A Frenzy
In a conversation with Good Housekeeping, Kotb admitted that she has a hard time keeping her composure, citing that Savannah has her in a frenzy.
“I live in fear of being fired in a moment because she’s like ‘Hoda, zip it,’ and they [the producers] are like Three, two, one, and she’s calm!” explained Hoda.

She also added that she feels her co-star is “secretly, nasty funny.”
Hoda further revealed that the 50-year-old is crystal clear when she asks her questions related to parenting. The controversial pair has been co-hosting the NBC show since 2017, and rumors of a backstage spat between them have been doing the rounds for months.
Savannah Wanted Willy Geist Instead Of Hoda
As revealed by The Sun via a source close to the network, “Savannah is the boss. After Matt Lauer was ousted, Savannah grabbed power, and she really wanted Willy Geist in Hoda’s role, but his ratings were just not up to par for the network. Hoda out maneuvered Savannah and got the spot.”
The source also claimed that Guthrie thinks of herself as a real news person while Kotb is viewed as a lightweight inclusion. Ever since fans spotted the tension between Savannah and Kotb during the cooking segment, viewers pointed out the obvious.

One wrote, “Seems like Hoda and Savannah do not share cooking segments anymore. Tension on Today continues.”
Another claimed in surprise, “Golly. The tension between Hoda and Savannah is pretty thick.”
Given this awkward tension between the two, fans have begged the pair to start afresh and move on. However, not all is bad between the two, as the co-stars recently shared an emotional moment. They paid tribute to NBC’s longtime correspondent Pete Williams who retired on July 29, 2022.

The two need to go!!
Cant stand Savannah. She is a BIOTCH !! She’s rude, she interrupts others when they are talking and when all of them are talking at the same time, Savannah has to be heard above the test ! She needs to go ! Love hoda, but don’t make Jenna her new side kick, they already have a show together!! Fire Savannah, she thinks “she’s all that” and honestly, she is not !!! Buh bye Savannah !! The sooner the better !!
Of course none of us know them all personally but just viewing them on TV ..Hoda seems very warm, sweet, kinda d a fun person and genuine where Savannah seems cold, ruthless, all businesslike and cutthroat. Almost appears as she has no human emotion.
If the station wants to portray a warm and inviting atmosphere Savanna-is not their girl.
She might be better doing some hard-core reporting rather than being in the studio.
I think Hoda has gotten too silly especially with Jenna. Liked her with Kathy Lee and the show better before.
