Sources confirmed to the British outlet that Alyssa will join the current panel, which includes Joy Behar, Sarah Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg for The View’s 26th season, which starts in September 2022. She will become the new conservative host who will replace the controversial Meghan McCain.

Lindsey Granger was also in the running for the same role. Some fans thought she was the perfect fit for the daytime program. They didn’t want someone else controversial to fill that seat. The role of the conservative host was filled by celebrities like Candace Cameron Bure and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
