A prediction is already beginning that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) could be the next couple on The Bold and the Beautiful. As the last few episodes have revealed, Bill is on a mission to help Li. He found her disoriented at the wharf … incoherent and confused. John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) mother somehow survived the fiery car accident at the docks after Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) chased her down. While Finn fights to escape the evil claws of his birth mother, his real mother is in a disheveled state as Bill helps her to recover.
How Bill and Li are exactly alike
Let’s dig into how Bill and Li will likely form a bond unlike any other. First, the get-together Bill had with his son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), could be seen as a foretelling of sorts. Their father-son dinner was all about how Bill has “grown” as a better person. Wyatt jokingly tells his father that he’s become more “compassionate.” However, Bill shares that it’s his three sons who’ve made him more complete. The direction of the conversation aligns with the type of mother Li is for Finn.
She risked everything by secretly treating him while it was assumed he died after the shooting. Rewinding to last year, Bill tried covering for Liam (Scott Clifton) after the car they were driving hit Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) best friend, which killed him. It was a setup so Thomas could be back with Hope (Annika Noelle), but it didn’t work. In this respect, Bill and Li are exactly alike on The Bold and the Beautiful. They’ll move heaven and earth to protect their children.

This prediction for the CBS soap is likely to come true for other reasons as well. Bill and Li are unhappily single with a lot of love to give. Bill isn’t getting anywhere with Katie (Heather Tom) and he’s out of luck with Brooke Logan-Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). He has the resources to help Li get well and to find the best attorneys to keep her out of legal trouble for her part in hiding Finn.
It’s unclear how that expose will go over with authorities – as well as the whole Forrester family on some level. It’s evident in some respects that Bill and Li will fall for each other once everything settles down with Finn getting back with Steffy and Sheila hopefully going back to jail.
