‘Welcome To Plathville’ Olivia Plath Rejects Kim, Embraces Barry?
A new preview for the Tuesday, July 19 episode of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville reveals that Olivia Plath may be rejecting Kim while becoming closer to Barry. As shown in the prior seasons of the show, there’s been some conflict between Olivia and her in-laws. They don’t always see eye-to-eye, and there have certainly been uncomfortable conversations along the way.
But things may be changing. Keep reading to get all of the details.
Now that Kim and Barry’s marriage is coming to an end, something seems to have changed for Olivia. In a previous episode, viewers watched Barry and Ethan Plath reconnect. And now, it looks like Olivia wants to do the same with her father-in-law.
Welcome to Plathville Preview: Olivia Plath Embraces Barry?
In the new Welcome to Plathville preview, which TLC posted on social media on Monday, July 18, Olivia says to Moriah Plath, “I was talking to your dad last week. I would really like to revisit things with him and like, start off brand new.”
It looks like Moriah is somewhat shocked to learn about this conversation. But she tags along with Ethan and Olivia as they head back to Cairo for this important chat.
Barry seems uncertain at first and calls the whole thing “new territory” in a confessional.
In a confessional, Kim says that Ethan and Olivia didn’t want her to be there and that she felt like she wasn’t invited. So, when Ethan calls Isaac on the way to the house, he confirms that Kim isn’t there.
In a confessional, Welcome to Plathville star Olivia explains, “There’s just like a million things I’m feeling all at the same time.”
The trailer doesn’t give away too many details yet. But it looks like Olivia is interested in mending her relationship with her father-in-law. She doesn’t seem to be interested in working things out with Kim at this point. The actual conversation between Olivia and Barry was not included in the first preview.
So, fans will have to wait and see how things go between them.
