‘The Bachelorette’: What If Gabby & Rachel Like The Same Man?
Now that the first episode of The Bachelorette with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia is behind them, fans have questions. How does it all work? They’re both dating everyone there. At what point does it get awkward? What happens if they both have strong feelings for the same person? When they’re giving out roses, can the person they’re giving them to say they’re there for the other woman?
What are the rules for dating the same people? There are a lot of questions since this is uncharted territory. In a preview for future episodes, Gabby says, “we’re figuring it out as we go along.” That preview also shows tears and men rejecting the women at some point.
Rachel Recchia And Gabby Windey Talk It Out
Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey have been working the press circuit to talk about their historic season, and this is something they’ve been asked. What do they do when they like the same man? Rachel said, “I mean, we just talk. I feel like that’s the boring answer. Everyone wants us to fight, but we just talk about what we’re feeling and how we feel for each guy and kind of just come up with a plan.”
Also, in the trailer teasing the upcoming season, it seems there are some issues with the men preferring one over the other. Although, it could just be editing to make fans think there is more drama than there actually is.
One Of The Girls May Struggle More Than The Other
Both women are crying in the previews, but it sets up Rachel to seemingly have a harder time than Gabby with the process. According to Cosmo, Rachel says, “It seems cruel for both of us to be put in this place together. I don’t know how I’m supposed to fall in love when no one gives a s— about me. This is not supposed to be like this.”
Fans also thought more of the men were there for Gabby because they hugged her first. Others simply thought it was because she was standing on the left, and they naturally went from left to right. There will be a lot of speculation on who the men are there for. There is also that old fear that they aren’t there “for the right reasons.”
Two of the men the girls sent home are already rumored to be in Paradise. It’s sure to be an exciting and dramatic season with the girls both going through their own journeys. It will be interesting to see the complications that arise from the two leads.
