Mama June To Blame For Pumpkin’s Surprise Pregnancy?
Mama June Shannon was the first to confirm that her daughter Pumpkin gave birth to twins. Though TMZ broke the news that she was expecting back in April, it was all still speculatory. Then, at the end of May, The Sun revealed that Pumpkin had given birth, according to sources close to the family. Despite it not being June’s news to tell, she did spill the twin beans but in defense of herself. Now, in an exclusive clip from Entertainment Tonight, June learns that Pumpkin is expecting. She is anything but a thrilled grandmother-to-be.
Mama June Tries To Make It Right
When Pumpkin was getting ready to give birth to her second child, she wanted her mother to be there. Sadly, she was MIA. At the time, she was trying to break free from her longtime love, Geno Doak. The relationship had turned abusive so she finally headed to a hotel where he could not find her. This coincided with Pumpkin’s delivery of her son, Bentley. June had been there for the birth of her first child, Ella, even getting work on her eyes so that she could see her as best as possible. It was a huge letdown but then Mama June reappeared and was determined to make things right.
She failed when she abandoned Alana at the Georgia airport to go see a man in Alabama. June did come back several weeks later with a new man, Justin Stroud. Her daughters were so over her in and out elusive behavior that they were ready to be done with her. June decided to make a big move, literally, and get a house down the street. When that failed, she proposed that they take a girl’s trip to Las Vegas with Pumpkin and Jessica. While there, a big secret was about to be revealed that would blow everyone away.
Pumpkin’s Pregnant, Now What?
When Mama June took Pumpkin out for lunch, Pumpkin admitted that she had been nauseaus. Obvously, viewers at home knew she was pregnant but Road to Redemption is about ten month behind. So, it was unclear if Pumpkin knew she was expecting at the time. When she and Jessica got to Vegas with their mom, she declined alcohol. In an exclusive clip from ET, the ladies have just gotten a makeover. They are out to eat when June notes how much Pumpkin is eating. June tells Pumpkin she cannot blame her for getting it on with her husband Josh. She claps back at her mom, saying they would not have been doing it if they didn’t have Covid.
Reminder: June was the one who brought the virus into the home when she surprised everyone on Alana’s birthday, uninvited. This was unplanned but it has been confirmed by the doctor and it is hard because they are struggling financially. June wants to know what Pumpkin was thinking. Yet, she thinks it might be a good thing as she will realize she needs her mama to help out. So far, June was only there for the delivery but has been stuck in Alabama with Justin.
