Lydia Plath celebrates her parents’ anniversary.
On her Instagram stories on Tuesday, July 12, Lydia shared a new selfie featuring herself and her parents. In her post, she wrote, “Today marks 25 years. I’m so thankful for each of my parents! These past months have not been easy, but it’s grown me more than anything else! It has taught me so much in many areas.”
Continuing to reflect on all that has happened, she said, “Life always changes! Things crumble all around me! But when I’m found on a rock that doesn’t crumble, life may fall apart, but I don’t have to!”
Finally, Lydia Plath wrote that she loves both of her parents and wishes them the best moving forward.

On Reddit, fans are talking about Lydia Plath’s latest Instagram post and they have a lot to say. Many of them are curious to know why Lydia is celebrating this milestone when her parents are in the midst of a divorce. They think the whole post is bizarre because her parents didn’t end up reaching 25 years of marriage before splitting up.
One fan says, “I’ve never seen someone wish a happy anniversary to a couple actively divorcing… first time for everything.”
Someone calls Lydia “delusional.” Another says that she isn’t truly living in reality and is stuck because of her upbringing. One Welcome to Plathville viewer says, “She’s living in a Disney movie.”
A few fans mention that they think that Lydia Plath is having a difficult time accepting the divorce because she doesn’t believe it’s okay.
