If you’ve been watching Welcome to Plathville Season 4, you know that Kim and Barry’s marriage is in a rough spot. Kim has been staying at her family’s other properties instead of her home with Barry and the kids. She made a new friend at the gym and seems to be very friendly with him.
Welcome to Plathville fans are curious to know whether their marriage will survive. While some think the drama is fake for the show, others are convinced a divorce is in the cards. Now, Kim has said the word to her husband, Barry.
Welcome to Plathville Preview: Kim Mentions Divorce
On Monday, June 27, TLC shared a spoiler for the next episode of Welcome to Plathville. In the clip, Kim mentions divorce.
In the 30-second clip, Kim says, “I’m trying to be honest with the girls. I know this is going to be hard on them, and I accidentally let the word ‘divorce’ slip.”
Then, she sits down with Barry and they’re discussing their marriage while exploring what might be next. He says, “I kind of value, like, 24 years. You just don’t go and throw things away.”
She responds, “You know that I’m not happy.”
Then, he asks why she’s being “so selfish.”

From the preview, it certainly seems like Kim and Barry aren’t on the same page about their relationship. And he seems to be pretty surprised that the word “divorce” was even spoken. More details will come out during the next episode of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville. So, hopefully, fans will soon learn where exactly their relationship stands.

That women ruled her husband and children were brought up to not realy have a child’s life. Feel sorry for the children because it is like I was brought up and it made me a bitter person. My mother was the one who decided which man I must marry. Plathville is not a good story for me, but I will watch it anyway to relive my own life.
If Barry really wanted to discuss the relationship, calling her “selfish” for not being happy is not a good way to start. Instead, he should be asking what can he do to make things right….let her know you understand she is not happy, and you want to talk about what you can do to change that if it can be changed. Name calling is the start of the end. Sweeten up a little…and see how it flows…
