Emma and Alex are both growing up quickly! On July 1, Emma celebrated her 17th birthday. Alex will turn 17 years old in November. Before long, they will be moving out and heading off to college. They certainly have many exciting things ahead. Fortunately, fans will get to be a part of it all, thanks to the family’s TLC show.
But right now, they’re focusing on something else.
As we previously reported, proud mom Amber Johnston recently shared the news that both Emma and Alex had gotten their licenses. So, the 7 Little Johnstons family now has two more drivers out on the road.
Because Emma and Alex Johnston are so close in age, they do many things together. They hit many exciting milestones and accomplishments at the same time. One less fun thing they have done together is gotten their wisdom teeth removed.
Of course, getting their licenses is a pretty big deal!
You can check out their new photo together below. They posed for a picture as they left the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Both of them look very excited to finally head out on the road.

On her Instagram stories this weekend, Amber Johnston shared a snap of Emma driving, as well as one of Alex driving. In the photos, it looks like both Emma and Alex Johnston are very focused and are keeping their eyes on the road.
Though they are just getting started, they look fairly comfortable behind the wheel. Of course, they got some good practice in while they had their permits, too.

When she shared these photos on her Instagram stories, Amber didn’t share any additional commentary with fans. She didn’t reveal where they were heading or how Alex and Emma are driving. Maybe she will have more updates on her kids’ driving skills soon, though.
