Emma & Alex Johnston Have Surgery, What Happened?
7 Little Johnstons star Emma and Alex Johnston both had surgery on Tuesday, April 5. After the operation, mom Amber Johnston shared an update with fans, letting them know what happened with the kids. Stick around to get the full rundown on Emma and Alex and their recent surgery.
Emma & Alex Johnston Surgery Details
In a new Instagram post on Tuesday, April 5, Amber gave fans an update on how Emma and Alex Johnston are spending their spring break. And it’s probably not how the kids were planning to spend their days off from school. While they might wish they were on the beach or lounging on the couch, they had to have surgery instead.
In her post, Amber reveals, “Spring Break = wisdom teeth O-U-T.”
So far, Amber hasn’t shared too many details about the kids’ surgery. But we likely would have heard something if there were any issues. Hopefully, Alex and Emma will recover quickly and don’t have any complications.
She posted several photos of Alex and Emma together after their surgery. She also shared an individual photo of each of them. Their mouths are stuffed with gauze to help control the bleeding. Both kids look rather uncomfortable. You can check out the photos below.

Other fans are offering helpful tips and tricks for wisdom teeth surgery recovery. Hopefully, the Johnston kids recover quickly and get back to feeling like themselves soon. Fortunately, this is a minor surgery that’s done every day. Many kids around Alex and Emma’s age get this done.
