Robert Won opens up about his secret fear

Jeopardy! shared a clip from the latest episode on Friday, July 8. Robert Won revealed his secret fear with host Mayim Bialik. She’s been hosting the show for the eighth week in a row. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, fans are sick of watching her every week.

“I was terrified that I’m a math professor and I wagered wrong,” Robert explained. “Like if I lost on a wrong wager my colleagues wouldn’t let me hear the end of that.”

“You did it right by one dollar,” Mayim told him with a smile on her face.

Not all fans are impressed with Robert. They think he’s one of the worst champions they witnessed. Some think his wager and his subsequent win were boring to watch. Fans think this season hasn’t been as exciting as seasons past.

One fan took to Reddit to share their thoughts. They reminisced about former champs Amy Schneider and Mattea Roach. The fan gloated about their non-stop winning streaks. Some fans took to the thread to agree that the game show needs a new champ to shake things up.

“I think mega champs are great and all that… but I also enjoy seeing a daily or regular turnover of champions, just for different perspectives,” one fan argued.

“I get bored with mega-champs after a while. Runaway after runaway gets boring,” another chimed in.

Is Season 38 of Jeopardy boring?

Some Jeopardy! fans wonder if the show is boring. There’s no arguing that Season 38 has been one of the most exciting. This season has had its share of super-champs that graced the show and captivated the viewers at home.

Some fans are tired of seeing the same champs week after week. They would like to see a shakeup or something more cut-throat every once in a while. Other fans wish the show would go back to its glory days when the late Alex Trebek was the long-running host.

The Tournament of Champions used to have a five-game lifted. But, it was removed in the early 2000s. Some Jeopardy! fans would like to see it return to a modified 10-game cap. Meanwhile, they’re impatiently waiting to see who will become the new permanent host of Jeopardy!
