Christine Brown has always been popular with Sister Wives fans. They really appreciate her bubbly attitude and her ability to stand up to Kody when necessary. But now that she’s left him, she seems happier than ever before.
Today, Christine Brown is successfully standing on her own two feet. Now more than ever before, she’s open with fans and is more outspoken on social media. And some fans are really grateful that she’s taking a stand.
Over the Fourth of July holidays, there was a tragic shooting in Highland Park, Illinois. Seven people lost their lives, sparking outrage around the country. Christine wants to use her platform to draw attention to the tragedy.
“Sending prayers to the Highland Park Victims and all of those affected by this shooting horror is necessary and needed,” Christine captioned her Instagram post. “I also found this website that lists gofundme accounts for the victim’s families. #highlandpark #shooting Let’s help this way as well.”
She attached a news article sharing information about GoFundMe accounts, which fans can see here.
Some fans liked that Christine was speaking up, but other followers felt that she wasn’t doing enough.
“Thoughts and prayers aren’t enough anymore,” one of her followers wrote. The TLC personality has a lot to learn, but seems willing to grow
Many Sister Wives fans don’t believe that Christine is uncaring — more than likely, she’s just a little naive. Christine has definitely made progress by leaving Kody, but it may take her some time to figure out how she feels about social issues like gun reform.
Right now, Christine has a lot on her plate as her daughter Mykelti is preparing to welcome twins. The fact that she said anything at all about the shooting is impressive, as her former sister wives have been quiet about the issue.
