Does Natasha Bure Get Help From Candace Cameron Bure, Her Mother?

Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter Natasha Bure has learned how hard it is to work in the family business. In a new Today interview, E! News reports that Natasha has had to deal with accusations of nepotism. This has frustrated her a great deal.

She shared that, “A lot of people will kind of assume that if I get any job or work at all that it’s from her.” Bure also added, “Or it’s given to me or it’s handed to me, and it’s honestly quite literally the opposite.”

She explained that she had “been on sets before.” Then added, “usually” the extent of her “acting” with her mother is in auditions, or helping her memorize. However, she has played alongside her mom as her daughter/niece in Hallmark’s Switched For Christmas. Most recently, she played a younger version of Aurora Teagarden, her mother’s character, in Haunted By Murder.

Will Natasha Bure star in more romantic or mystery movies like this? Her mother would like to see her be a lead actress, and follow in her footsteps.

Candace Cameron Bure Publicly Challenged Hallmark To ‘Snatch Up’ Daughter Natasha Bure

Last August, right after Lifetime announced that Natasha Bure would star in Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, CCB spoke to The Heavy about her daughter. Candace Cameron Bure even challenged her then network, Hallmark, to “snatch up” her only daughter Natasha.

I’m very glad she’s out there doing her own thing, and I will happily promote all of her Lifetime movies, even though it’s the competing network. I’m her mother first so I will always be promoting them. If Hallmark doesn’t snatch her up for a Christmas movie, it’s Hallmark’s loss.”

Natasha Bure Wants To ‘Make It On Her Own’

Furthermore, in that same interview, Candace Cameron Bure revealed that her daughter wants to find success in her own way.

She’s made a consorted effort to make sure that she does this on her own, she gets everything because she works hard, and not because she’s riding on my coattails in anyway, which is really why she doesn’t want to work with me.

As for Natasha, she may want to do her own thing but does credit her mom for some philosophical acting advice.

One of the biggest pieces of advice she’s given me, and she gave it to me a while ago, it’s to say yes to things that scare you and to really go after things that are out of your comfort zone.

She then explained the lesson her mom taught her. “Because those are the types of experiences that are really going to push you in your life.”

So does Natasha think that her mom is helping her get work? Her response indicates she says no.

I’m out here like everyone else just grinding and trying to follow my dreams and make them come true.

Now that CCB has left Hallmark to GAC Media, it will be interesting to see if Natasha Bure stars in new movies on Bill Abbott’s new network.

Do you think Natasha Bure gets help from her famous mother?
