‘Sister Wives:’ Will Avalon Padron Be Bilingual?
Sister Wives star Mykelti Padron married Tony, who fluently speaks English and Spanish. Tony Padron is really proud of his Mexican heritage, so it only makes sense that he would like to share it with his kids.
Right now, Tony and Mykelti have one daughter, Avalon. But they’re currently expecting a pair of twins in December.
But fan recently wondered if the couple planned to raise their children to be bilingual. Keep reading to see what Mykelti had to say.
Sister Wives fans hope Avalon Padron will embrace her Mexican heritage too
Over the years, Sister Wives fans have had the chance to watch the kids grow up onscreen and have families of their own. Mykelti and Tony’s wedding was very quirky and very fitting for their personalities. And now they have a beautiful little girl at home.
Mykelti is pretty active on social media and enjoys sharing pictures of Avalon with fans.
“I WIN!! She’s amazing and so much fun to raise,” the Sister Wives star posted on Instagram recently. “I’m having the time of my life being a mom. It’s gotten harder while pregnant, I can’t do as much as she wants me to anymore. And once the twins come I know it will be even more difficult. But I’m still so honored and please to raise her and her two siblings when they arrive.”
The photo featured little Avalon wrapped in a towel and beaming at the camera.
Sister Wives fans love looking at photos of the little girl. Several also have questions about the family.
“Are you guys raising her bilingual?” one fan asked. Tony’s parents appeared on the show during the wedding storyline. They primarily speak Spanish, so it’s a question that many fans want to know.
“[We’re] trying to,” Mykelti replied. “She doesn’t talk a whole lot yet.”
Avalon just celebrated her first birthday in April 2022, so it may be a while before she’s holding full conversations yet. But Sister Wives fans are really excited to see the little girl grow up as bilingual.
The Padron family prepares to welcome two more into the bunch
Avalon Padron won’t quite be two years old when Mykelti gives birth to twins at the end of 2022. So there will be three children in the family that will be close in age.
Mykelti is still early in her pregnancy, so there’s quite a bit the family hasn’t shared with fans. But they did tell Sister Wives fans that they know the twins are fraternal.
Right now, fans are having a lot of fun guessing the sex of the babies.
