Mama June’s Man Says It’s All Too Fast, Says He Might Not Love Her?
Mama June fans were shocked when it came out that she married her boyfriend Justin Stroud after just six months. It was definitely a whirlwind relationship. However, she claims that he has been supportive and always there for her since they met. Yet was it all too much too fast for June’s new man?
Mama June Loves A Good Rebound
When viewers first met June Shannon, she was in a longtime partnership with Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson. Together, they had one child, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ but were collectively raising her three other daughters, as well. It was a dysfunctional family that just seemed to have a way of working. Though the two never married, they were engaged and even had a commitment ceremony. Sadly, he was unfaithful and the couple called it quits after a stint on Marriage Boot Camp. She reconnected with a dangerous man from her past which caused the family to lose their popular reality show. Once Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled, June went on to revamp herself and land a new series. There, she showed off her new love, Geno Doak.
They ended up living a very dangerous lifestyle and by 2021, she finally got away from him. It looked like maybe she would focus on her kids and grandchildren. However, her girls knew her pattern and that she could not stay single for long. She ended up in Alabama claiming that she was helping a man named Jordan stay sober. Ultimately, she spent 50K on him and when that did not work out, she started seeing his friend, Justin. He was also in recovery so she felt he could understand what she was going through. Within a short period of time, she proposed that they move in together. Now it seems all the rushing is just too much for Justin.
Moving Way Too Fast?
In the latest episodes of Mama June: Road to Redemption, June has started seeing Justin Stroud. He is also in recovery but they seem to get along really well. When June came down with Covid, he was right there, checking in on her. Right after she healed, he took her out to eat and she proposed they live together. Though he claimed it was too soon, she felt it was fine so he agreed. Now, in an exclusive preview from Entertainment Tonight, it continues to appear that June is still pushing too hard. The couple decided to move into a trailer right near Pumpkin and Josh.
They did not even tell the girls or production. First off, they are waiting to tell June’s daughters until it is all established and settled. There was also a rush to get into the home though it is not the ideal place. June does confess to the producer that she is in love which is commonplace for her at this point. Justin walks in right as she finishes answering the question and it does take him by surprise. Apparently, he’s been trying to discourage her from being an open book. He admits he has a love for her but is not in love just yet. This did change at some point as the couple wed in March of this year.
