Mama June Shannon Fans Show Disdain For Her, Why?
Mama June Shannon has gotten a lot of hate over the last handful of years. Fans feel that she is selfish and only cares about herself. Now they are truly expressing their feelings about the reality star, no holds barred.
Mama June, Only Out For Herself?
When viewers were first introduced to June and her family, they were quite eclectic and offbeat. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was spawned from Toddlers and Tiaras. There, June’s youngest daughter Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was a standout so it only made sense that their family would get a reality show. The focal point was not just on Alana’s antics but on how June, her daughters, and Alana’s father Sugar Bear interacted. They had fun and laughed a lot but handled serious issues. As a tween, Lauryn aka Pumpkin came out as bisexual to her mother. This was something that was a bonding moment between her and June. Though Alana was Sugar Bear’s only biological child, he embraced the other three as his own. It showed with his support towards Pumpkin with her coming out.
Things drastically changed when June and Sugar Bear parted ways and she went on to undergo weight loss surgery. Her dramatic new look helped to garner a hit reality show and a new boyfriend, Geno Doak. Soon, it was apparent that men and drugs were coming before June’s children, mainly Alana. She went to go live with Pumpkin who stepped up as a mother shortly after getting married and giving birth to her own daughter. In 2021, June and Geno finally called it quits as she was sober and he was toxic but no sooner did she leave was she off with a new man named Jordan. She had abandoned Alana at an airport for him but when that failed, she met Justin, and now, they are married. When will she learn?
Sick And Tired
It has come to the point where fans are just plain over Mama June. As she continues to post videos on social media, viewers cannot help but share their feelings. When June shared a promotional Instagram video, it was clear no one was there for her at all:
