Mackynzie Duggar Surfaces In Rare Photo Weeks After Dad Josh’s Sentencing
12-year-old Mackynzie Duggar has finally resurfaced! Josh and Anna Duggar’s eldest daughter has not appeared in any photos recently amid her father’s scandal. And naturally, fans have been wondering how the kids are doing during this time. Though there’s not an update on all of Josh and Anna’s children, Mackynzie appears to be doing well. In case you missed any of the updates, Josh was recently sentenced to 151 months (about 12-and-a-half years) behind bars. The eldest Duggar child was found guilty of child pornography charges back in December. He’s now been transferred to the Federal Correction Institute in Seagoville, Texas.
Amid this recent scandal, Anna has been keeping fairly quiet on social media. So, fans haven’t seen much about her kids lately. Now, fans finally get to see 12-year-old Mackynzie Duggar in a rare snap.

On Instagram this week, James Duggar shared a new selfie as he posed with a couple of family members. James is one of Josh’s brothers and is one of Mackynzie’s many uncles. He can be seen on the far right side of the photo. Along with sharing the snap, he wrote, “Glad I got to see y’all.”
The others in the picture include Justin Duggar (gray shirt), Robby Spivey (black shirt and baseball cap), Gari-Anne (white shorts), Claire Spivey Duggar, and Paige Spivey. Justin is married to Claire. Robby and Paige are Claire’s siblings and Gari-Anne is their aunt.
Mackynzie Duggar can be seen between Claire and Paige. Josh and Anna’s eldest daughter is wearing a gray top with a denim skirt and sandals. She’s all smiles as she poses for a photo.
Before this post, it had been over a year since Anna Duggar last shared a photo of her daughter, Mackynzie. The last time the 12-year-old appeared on her mom’s Instagram page was in April 2021 when the family announced their seventh baby was on the way. Now, the baby girl is nine months old.
Though this recent snap of Mackynzie doesn’t give fans a full update, they can see that she’s surrounded by loved ones during this challenging time.
