Evan Bass Opens Up About Carly Waddell Divorce, Reveals Makeover
Fans loved seeing Bachelor in Paradise couple Evan Bass and Carly Waddell together. They shipped them hard throughout their season. Then, when they got engaged on the season finale fans went wild. Carly and Evan then ended up expecting their first child together before they even wed. Ultimately they had two children, a son and a daughter. Then, the unthinkable happened. This quirky couple fans loved announced they were splitting up. Now more than a year later, Evan is opening up about his split from Carly.
Evan Bass opens up about Carly
BIP alum Evan Bass recently revealed on a podcast that he still isn’t over his second divorce. Bachelor Nation shared what he had to say about this split from Carly more than a year later.
Evan said, “I’m not out of it. I still feel emotional, and it’s hard talking about it. It’s a deep sadness still. I don’t know if you ever heal perfectly. The scars and wounds heal, but they stay there to teach out. So I’m trying my best.”
He also revealed why they split. Evan said he loves what he built with Carly on Bachelor in Paradise. However, he noted that their foundation to survive together just wasn’t strong enough when they left the beach engaged.
Evan said, “We didn’t communicate about our values and just communication in general. Figuring out how to work through life, I have other children that aren’t with Carly. So there was just a lot to work through and I don’t think we set the foundation in the way that we should have.”
He’s sought therapy and a new look
Evan also revealed that he has been going to therapy for years. However, when he split from Carly he noted he made sure he was going at least once a week. He tried all kinds of therapy including talk therapy, hypnotherapy and EMDR.
Evan has also been focusing on his physical health and fans are blown away by his transformation. He shared an Instagram Story in which he was in the rain in Boston. Fans can’t get over how good Evan looks.
His transformation is nothing short of incredible. In fact, his latest photos have fans a little thirsty for more Evan.
