Back in 2016, Lauren Bushnell was crowned the winner of Season 20 of The Bachelor and got engaged to Ben Higgins.
Fast-forward 6 years and they are both married to other people. Higgins and Bushnell went their separate ways after a year of dating.
She went on to marry country singer Chris Lane in 2019. Two years later, Ben Higgins wed Jessica Clarke.
Lauren and Chris Lane recently revealed that they are expecting baby number two. They welcomed their son Dutton in June of 2021.
The country singer and the reality star will welcome their new baby in October.

Lauren Lane gets emotional about ‘solo’ parenting
Pregnancy is an emotional time for many women, and Lauren Lane is no exception. She recently opened up about a complication in her pregnancy that is scary, but common. As we previously reported, the baby’s “umbilical cord is attached to the edge of the placenta” instead of the middle.
Over the weekend, Lane took to her Instagram Stories to share how she’s feeling lately.
She posted a snap of her “loves in one photo.” The photo shows both her growing baby bump and her one-year-old son on the floor, grabbing onto her knees.
“It’s always incredibly hard solo parenting and doing it every week for days on end,” she admitted.
She further wrote that she is “praying everything is okay with this baby.”
The Bachelor alum also hopes Dutton “walks soon.” Why? Her “25 lb side kick” wants to be held all the time.
Lauren Lane also assured nervous followers that she wasn’t naked in the photo, despite her bare bump. “I have a swimsuit on.,” Lane assured fans. “Don’t panic.”
Why is she ‘solo’ parenting? Where’s her husband?
The country singer is currently in the middle of a huge tour. The next few months are fully booked until the tour wraps up in December.
Bachelor Nation star issues ‘correction’
Lauren Bushnell Lane quickly realized how her ‘solo’ parenting comment was going over with fans. She popped back on her IG Stories to issue a ‘correction.’
“I am not ‘solo.’ I am not alone. I have the most amazing husband and family I get to lean on,” she wrote.
She added that she doesn’t take her support for granted. But, she wishes her husband’s “strong arms” were around to hold their son “7 days a week.”
Lane then posted a series of videos to quell backlash. She shared a story one follower sent to her via DM about losing her husband while pregnant while her second child.
The Bachelor Nation alum made it clear that she wasn’t comparing her husband being on tour to someone losing their husband and the father of their children.
