‘Jeopardy!’ Host Mayim Bialik Makes ANOTHER Blunder?

Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik made another blunder. This comes amid the criticism she’s received for the way she hosts the shows. Fans noticed that she slows down the game with her constant pauses. Bialik waits for cues from production since she doesn’t want to take it upon herself and make a mistake.

Unfortunately, that did not work since fans caught her yet again. This time around, they called out the actress for “incorrectly” snubbing the champ. On the latest episode, champ Megan Wachspress was cut off by the host. Read on to see why fans are calling Bialik “rude and incorrect.”

Jeopardy! champ cut off by TV host

Mayim Bialik interrupted Megan in the recent episode. She’s been hosting the game show for the sixth week in a row. Meanwhile, Ken Jennings is taking a much-deserved break from his hosting duties. Yet, fans want him to desperately come back.

The permanent hosting position will be announced by the end of Season 38 in July. In the latest episode, Megan won her fifth straight game with $51,000 total. However, she was cut off by a “rude” Bialik who made an incorrect ruling. This latest move made fans miss Jennings more and pray for him to come back.

“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t do this,” Mayim Bialik read the clue.

Megan responded, “What is: Drink… what is make-” The Hollywood star cut her off and said, “No.”

“What is: Make them drink?” Megan tried again.

But Bialik interrupted her and flatly said, “No.” Contestant Ketty buzzed in and said, “What is: Make them drink?” Mayim Bialik said she was correct as she awarded her $400 for that clue. Once again, fans are not happy with the host. They called her out on Twitter for interrupting Megan and telling her she had the wrong answer.

• “That ruling sucked, sorry.”
• “Why have a writing/research team if they get clues wrong?”
• “Jeopardy! just cheated Megan.”

Mayim Bialik apologizes to fans

Shortly after the break, Mayim Bialik found herself apologizing to fans. She didn’t explain what happened in the last round or why she cut off Megan. But, she did reveal that production concluded that Megan did have the right answer.

“Before we get to Double Jeopardy we have a change in score to announce and Megan it affects you,” Mayim Bialik admitted. “The judges have reviewed the tape and you did begin your correct response before I ruled you incorrect.”

Megan was awarded $800 on top of her score. Jeopardy! fans couldn’t believe how Mayim Bialik handled the game. They’re just glad that production overturned her decision. This comes after Megan’s controversial win on Friday’s episode.
