‘Jeopardy!’ Gregory Scruggs Drops F-Bomb & Makes Viewers Dizzy?

Jeopardy! contestant Gregory Scruggs made viewers anxious and dizzy. In a surprising twist on the family-friendly quiz show, he dropped the f-bomb. It was the most unexpected moment in all of Season 38. This season has already been filled with many highs as well as some lows.

Blunders are common when there’s high stake pressure and wagers. However, fans didn’t expect this moment to happen. Even though this season had some NSFW categories, it’s never gotten this out of hand. Anything can happen during a televised broadcast.

Gregory Scruggs makes an inappropriate blunder

On the Thursday, June 16 episode, Jeopardy! contestant Gregory Scruggs made an inappropriate blunder. He was clearly feeling passionate about the game. This caused the journalist to drop the f-bomb on national television. Of course, this isn’t the first time that someone has cussed on the game show.

But Gregory’s moment got the viewers talking. During the latest episode, things got tense for him. He was frantic as he incorrectly answered one of the clues he selected. Gregory already felt the pressure by then. He was disappointed with himself and how he’s been playing the game.

Host Mayim Bialik asked him to “select again.” Gregory chose “Body Parts in Latin” for $600. A sound blared as the board revealed that he selected a Daily Double. Instead of being excited, Gregory blabbed, “f***.”

He sounded even more miffed by what just happened. Jeopardy! fans were confused by his reaction. Gregory noticed what he said and covered his mouth. He then cooly scratched his scruffy beard as he thought about what to wager. By then, fans already noticed what he said.

“Did he mouth f***?” one Twitter user asked.

“Sure looks like the F-Bomb to me!!” another added.

Also, Gregory was making fans a little dizzy during the game. They couldn’t keep up with his gameplay and constant swaying. The Seattle native wore a gray suit, which made some think he had a bit of a swagger.

• “Yo this guy has to stop moving around.”

Jeopardy! fans got anxious watching the new player

Gregory was apparently nervous during the episode. Some Jeopardy! fans said they got anxious watching him play. Gregory kept viewers on their toes. They had no idea what he was going to do next.

Others were bored with his Q&A story. He talked about the time when he went on a “40-mile long hike.” However, Gregory’s not the only one whose pace has fans upset. Jeopardy! fans slammed Bialik for not keeping up with the pace of the game. Critics noticed that she’s not good with multi-tasking.
