‘RHOBH’ Erika Jayne Plays ‘Ignorant’ Over Millions Of New Owed Taxes?

Is Erika Jayne playing “ignorant” over the millions of her newly owed taxes? She has been hit with a $2.4 million tax bill. However, she refuses to pay up because of her $40,000 per month glam squad. Erika showed off her glam squad on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The reality star admitted that she doesn’t want to cut them out of her life. She has given up so much already in light of her divorce and embezzlement case. The controversial TV personality has to forfeit her $1.4 million diamond earrings from her estranged husband Thomas Girardi in a new bankruptcy lawsuit filed by a trustee for his law firm.

On the Wednesday, June 15 episode of RHOBH, Erika Jayne boasted about her glam squad. She brought them along on the cast’s trip to Mexico. The Bravo star isn’t giving them up just yet. Erika compared it to people who like having a lot of kids. She argued that she enjoys buying a lot of clothes, jewelry, and makeup.

On the other hand, she also claims that she’s struggling financially. She had to downsize her home after filing for divorce in November 2020. Erika Jayne was recently hit with another tax blow. According to a letter from the Franchise Tax Board obtained by The Sun, Erika owes more than $2.5 million from 2011 to 2013 for her company EJ Global, which is now suspended.

The letter didn’t reveal whether she owes taxes for the years from 2013 to 2019. Erika Jayne filed a declaration on Tuesday, June 14. She claimed that her business manager received another income tax due notice bill from the California Franchise Tax Board, which says she owes $2.2 million in taxes from 2019.

“I am in the midst of trying to figure out the basis of this tax bill with the assistance of my business manager, who is also an account,” Erika Jayne wrote. “I do not have the ability to pay the FTB tax bill. I also do not know if the FTB is claiming any sort of lien on my assets, which include the diamond earrings.”

Attorney Ronald Richards is a creditor and represents Chapter 7 trustee Elissa Miller. He sent a response to Erika Jayne’s claim to The Sun. He warns that her tax woes will continue to grow.

“She says she just received the FTB tax bill in May 2022. Of course, if EJ updates EJ Global and files returns, this will grow. EJ omits from her declaration and already personally participated in a tax audit for prior years.”

He revealed that Erika Jayne’s taxes now amount to over $5.37 million, which he calls a “staggering sum.” Despite her financial woes, the singer is keeping her $40K per month glam squad. On the latest episode of RHOBH, she said that she doesn’t “downsize” on her “glam.” In the court documents, she alleges her assets are her personal belongings and her earnings from the reality series, appearances, and endorsements.
