Are Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvintsev Planning For Baby #2?
WWE superstar Nikki Bella and DWTS pro Artem Chigvintsev are happy and in love. Their son Matteo will be two years old in July and his parents are still working on their wedding plans.
But do Nikki and Artem have plans for another little one in the future? Keep reading to see what the couple had to say.
Nikki Bella dishes on plans to expand her family with Artem Chigvintsev
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev hadn’t been dating very long when Nikki realized she was pregnant. However, the two already knew that they were meant to be. Soon after the pregnancy announcement, Artem proposed. Their son Matteo was born on July 31, 2020.
Although Nikki and Artem haven’t tied the knot quite yet, they’re still thinking about wedding plans. But what about expanding the family?
“We got in a big, detailed conversation about it. Because I was like, ‘You know, I do have baby fever, but I don’t know. Is right now right? Maybe do you want to try for a girl?’ And actually, Artem was like, ‘We need to wait,’” Nikki explained during a recent episode of The Bellas Podcast.
She went on to say that Artem really wanted Matteo to be a little older before they had another baby. They both agreed they wanted Matteo to be about four years old before they had another child. But on the other hand, both Nikki and Artem are both really busy with their careers.
“He [also] has Dancing With The Stars coming up soon,” Nikki continued in the episode. “He made a comment, ‘I don’t want to leave and be dancing in Los Angeles and you’re home pregnant with Matteo and trying to do everything.’”
Will the couple tie the knot anytime soon?
And when will those wedding bells ring?
For now, it seems like Nikki and Artem are choosing to stay unmarried. They’re very happy, but their careers are really taking up a lot of their time.
“I will be getting married, and I can’t wait,” the WWE superstar told her sister Brie in another episode of their podcast. “I do me, for me. So that means I’ll marry Artem when I want, for me and [Matteo] and him for my life.”
But for now, fans will just have to wait and see where the couple goes from here. When they’re ready to take another big step in their relationship, they’ll definitely let their fans know.
