Raven Gates Dishes On Baby Number 2 Plans
Fans love following Raven Gates and her husband Adam Gottschalk. The two met on Bachelor in Paradise after neither found love on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor. After postponing their wedding a few times due to the pandemic, they finally wed. A bit later, Raven announced she was pregnant with their first baby whom she believes was conceived on their honeymoon. Now, she’s already dishing on plans for baby number two. Raven Gates reveals when she and Adam will try for baby number two
Bachelor Nation shared what Raven Gates had to say about her and Adam having a second child. Raven shared that she gets this question a lot even though their son Gates is only five months old.
She said she and Adam are definitely wanting another baby. In fact, she shared that they plan to start trying again in January. Raven said her physician advised her to wait a full year before trying since she delivered Gates via C-Section.
She did note she hasn’t seen her doctor yet for her six-month follow-up. So, unless they advise her to do something different she and Adam will try for baby number two come 2023.
Will she have another C-Section?
Other fans want to know if Raven will go straight for another C-Section or if she will attempt a vaginal birth. Raven said, “I would love to have a vaginal delivery, but I’m not going to stress about it. I will be honest, after having Gates via emergency C-Section, it really messed with me! I felt kind of like a failure. Gates’ cord was wrapped around his neck three times.”
She continued on saying, “But after talking to other C-Section moms, this was such a common feeling among a lot of us. The best thing a friend ever told me was – it doesn’t matter how he got here, he’s here, end of story. And that’s truly what helped me heal emotionally. I never thought I would feel so defeated about having a C-Section, but now I see it as a blessing! My baby is here!”
She and Adam are adjusting to life as parents. In fact, Raven said she is trying to get out more. They just try to go with the flow. If Gates is fussy or tired they go right back home. On other days they take advantage of his good mood.
She encourages moms to get out of the house and get comfortable taking their babies places.
