‘Jeopardy!’ Viewers Rally Behind Eric Ahasic, Super Champ?
Jeopardy! fans are rallying behind Eric Hasic. He was named a super-champ after his sixth consecutive win. He’s so good at the game that viewers think he’s going to be around for a long time. Some have a feeling that he might return the following season.
Right now, it’s just Eric’s game and everyone’s playing along. Some fans noted that he’s on “another level” and “dominates the competition.” They noticed that his gameplay is stronger than the fellow champs who appeared this season, including Amy Schneider, Mattea Roach, and Ryan Long. In fact, Eric could be just as strong as Amy, as he continues to stick around on the game show.
Eric Ahasic is on “another level”
Jeopardy! fans are in agreement that Eric Ahasic is unlike most constants on the show. He’s on a different level when it comes to them. He just earned his sixth consecutive win on Monday, June 13. This puts him in the category of “super-champions.” Check out the tweet below for yourself.

Even Jeopardy! fans raved about Eric on Reddit. They’ve been rallying behind him ever since they said goodbye to fan-favorite Ryan Long. In a shocking twist, Eric beat out Ryan on the Monday, June 6 episode. He’s been kicking butt on the quiz show ever since.
After watching the Minneapolis meteorologist’s latest win, fans have a good feeling about Eric. Most think he’s going to stick around for a few months, even after Season 38 ends. They think he’s far ahead of his competition with his smarts.
- “Who else thinks Eric is on another level than recent champions? (with the exception of Amy Schneider).”
- “Eric doesn’t even allow the game to be competitive.”
- “And Mayim [Bialik] said something about him answering 24 questions/game.”
- “Eric is really dominant and I admire his knowledge.”
- “Yeah, I think part of what makes Eric so great is his willingness to gamble and execute on the DDs.”
Jeopardy! fans are rooting for him
As a result, Jeopardy! fans are rooting for him to go all the way. They’re excited to see how far Eric can go in this competition. However, some see comparisons between him and former chat Matt Amodio. Both of them have impressive gameplays and answers per game thus far.
Of course, there’s no one like James Holzhauer who won $2,464,216 in 33 consecutive days. Schneider comes behind him by winning over $1 million in just 40 days. During Monday’s episode, Eric sailed through with a daily total of $26,800. That puts him at a six-day total of $160,601.
Per Jeopardy!’s Box Scores, the Minnesota native has a correct response rate of 92% and has gotten 13 out of 15 Daily Doubles right. Eric is now the man that fans are now rooting for since ending Ryan’s 16-day streak. What are your thoughts on Eric? Sound off below in the comment section.
