Holly Robinson Peete has some pretty exciting news to share with her fans around the world. She is being honored in one of the most iconic ways. Can you guess?

Holly Robinson Peete is getting a star on the Famed Hollywood Walk of Fame! According to the official website, she is going to receive the 2,725th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, June 21.

From a young age, Holly Robinson Peete was destined to be an actress. Born in Philadelphia, she moved to LA at the age of 10. However, this was not before her first foray into acting. At the age of four, she was on Sesame Street, playing opposite her father, Matthew Robinson, who portrayed Gordon on the series, as well as worked as a producer.

Soon, she was in a cornucopia of successful television shows starting with 21 Jump Street with Johnny Depp. Next, she was in Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, and For Your Love. Later, she had recurring roles in Chicago Fire, and Mike & Molly.

Holly Robinson Peete Is Hallmark Fan-Favorite

Currently, Holly Robinson Peete is beloved in the world of Hallmark. Besides her Christmas In Evergreen series, Holly has starred in over 15 movies with the network. Later this summer, she will be starring in a road trip movie called The Road Ahead.

In addition, she just recently signed a multi-picture deal, that includes exclusivity on holiday movies, with the feel-good network.

Holly will soon be part of an elite group of Hallmark talent that has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That esteemed list includes many Hallmark favorites. Here is just a few: Ann-Margret, who is starring in the 2022 Christmas movie, A Holiday Spectacular, the late great Ed Asner from the All Of My Heart franchise, Christmas In Angel Falls star Beau Bridges, A Christmas Miracles’ star Mariah Carey, the original Mrs. Miracle, Doris Roberts, and the ubiquitous Betty White, who starred in The Lost Valentine.

Actress An Autism Advocate

Holly and her husband Rodney Peete started the HollyRod Foundation. Originally, this was inspired by her father’s battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Later, the foundation expanded, when their oldest son, R.J., was diagnosed with autism.

Since then, Holly has been a dedicated advocate for both autism and Parkinson’s. In addition, her 2021 Hallmark holiday movie was Our Christmas Journey, which focused on an autistic grown-up child. She advocated for this movie to bring hope to others in the same situation.

In addition, actor Nik Sanchez, who played her son, is on the spectrum. She felt this detail was important because representation matters.

When Is Holly Robinson Peete Getting A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame?

The Morning Show Mysteries star is going to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., Pacific time. The ceremony is broadcast on the Walk Of Fame website. LeVar Burton, Yvette Lee Bowser, and Magic Johnson will be the guest speakers.
