Real-Life Actor Couples Who Starred In Hallmark Movies Together
When Hallmark says “Where Love Happens,” they really mean it. They not only make beautiful movies about romances, but it is not unusual for co-stars to find their loves right on set.
Here are some of the real-life couples who have starred in Hallmark movies together.
Couples Who Met On Hallmark Set
When Calls The Heart’s Chris McNally and Cut, Color Murder star Julie Gonzalo starred on Hallmark’s The Sweetest Heart. This was back in 2018, and they had not met or worked together before.
Gonzalo told Fansided that she suggested that the two spend some weekend time reading lines to work on developing chemistry. Although he was also doing a play, he agreed to do so. Her response? She called him a “wonderful, wonderful person and a terrific actor.” After that, the two kept their relationship very private.
However, just a week ago, she tagged him in a baby announcement post. They are now parents of Baby M!

Just recently, Victor Webster and Shantel VanSanten tied the knot three times. The two met on the set of the 2017 movie, Love Blossoms. She plays a chemist who is trying to save her family business, while he has an exceptional sense of smell.

Hearties are well aware that When Calls The Heart stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace met on that set. Both were new to the show during Season 6. Starting out as friends, they became Instagram official late in 2020.

Now, the couple is starring in their second 2022 Hallmark movie together, My Grown-Up Christmas List. This will be kicking off Christmas In July.
Couples That Worked Together On Hallmark Movie
Alexa and Carlos PenaVega just completed a movie with director Ron Oliver. Although the network has kept quiet about the details of this movie, fans around the world are thrilled. The pair have starred in many movies together.
But, how do they work and live together? That is a tall order! Alexa told US Magazine, “Communication is so key. It’s hard to communicate sometimes. So it’s easier said than done, but the more you work at it and spend ‘intentional’ time together, not just ‘living together’ your marriage will prosper.”

Galadriel Stineman and Kevin Joy are a married couple that also starred as love interests in the Hallmark movie, Follow Your Heart. Galadriel wrote on Instagram, “So many memories of leading a film with my other half. We should do it again! Actually… that’s not a bad idea… 🤔”
The couple so enjoyed the experience that they are working on trying to do more of these movies. She told Home And Family that working for Hallmark is very family-friendly. Their children were able to be with them when they were filming the movie. This sort of family-friendly set is not common in Hollywood.

The Latest Couple Who Met Filming One December Night
Over Christmas, movie watchers raved over Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday movie, One December Night. Brett Dalton and Eloise Mumford had amazing chemistry and were an absolute delight.
Turns out, Santa must have waved some special Christmas magic love on the couple. They recently went Instagram official. Eloise Mumford shared a cute photo of the two of them, and wrote on Instagram, “i didn’t trip, i fell ♥️”
In return, Dalton wrote on his Instagram, “Love is in the air. And now in my heart with @eloisemumford ❤️❤️❤️”
In a seemingly Hallmark-esque twist of fate, the two allegedly were not going to star in this together. SleepyKitty Paw tweeted, “Though never officially confirmed, had heard at the time Dalton was a last minute add to ONE DECEMBER NIGHT, when originally-cast lead had to bow out.”
