Joy Forsyth & Sisters-In-Law Defy Jim Bob Duggar With Swimsuit Snaps
Joy Forsyth and several of her sisters-in-law are defying Jim Bob Duggar’s strict modesty rules with their recent social media appearances. The ladies are wearing swimsuits that he would likely not be so happy with. Keep reading to get all of the details and check out the new photos.
If you’re a Duggar fan, you probably know about the family’s strict modesty guidelines. Jim Bob and Michelle‘s daughters are expected to wear long skirts or dresses. They can’t show too much skin on their chests, arms, or legs. Even when playing sports or going swimming, the Duggar girls must cover up.
So, it might come as a surprise to learn that several of the Duggar daughters are wearing swimwear. So, who all was soaking up some sunshine by the pool this week?

On Instagram this week, Esther Bates (the wife of Bringing Up Bates star Nathan) posted a few photos while she hung out with the Duggar girls. The ladies recently had a fun pool day and shared about it on social media.
This same group hangs out fairly often. They celebrated Galentine’s Day together and have other get-togethers. The group features Esther Bates, Abbie Duggar, Hannah Duggar, Katey Duggar, Joy Forsyth, and a couple more friends.

In the back row on the left-hand side, you can see Jeremiah’s wife Hannah in a sleeveless top. Beside her is Joy Forsyth, who appears to be wearing a swim top. It features a full coverage top that doesn’t show too much skin but doesn’t have sleeves.
Abbie Duggar, on the bottom right, is also wearing a sleeveless swimsuit top. Katey is in a tank top.
Below, you can see Jed Duggar’s wife, Katey, in a short skirt and tank top. She’s showing off her brick oven pizza.
However, it’s worth noting that the Duggar daughters and daughters-in-law appear to be concealing their swimsuits in these photos. They are standing behind one another, and Esther has a towel thrown over her. So, it’s unclear just how modest their swimwear actually is.

they are grown women now and should be able to dress as they plese and they are still covered up modestly
They are highly NORMAL! I can only imagine what must have gone through their heads all these years when they saw women, ladies, children wearing suimsuits. How can the majority of people world wide be wrong for not wearing modest dressage? They aren’t wrong. Good for them to have the courage to be themselves!
Jim Bob needs to realize that he does NOT own nor can he continue to control the ways of his grown kids…He and Michelle both dressed this way growing up, Michelle was a cheerleader, and they haven’t gone to He(( for the choice they made years ago….leave these young ladies alone and let them live a somewhat normal life now..he really needs a reality check…
