‘Manipulative’ Anna Duggar Not As Sweet As Fans Think?
Anna Duggar is being described as “manipulative” and may not actually be as sweet as fans think she is. Amid Josh Duggar’s child pornography trial, many details about the whole family’s character have surfaced. Old clips of the family have surfaced online, while sources have come out and spilled the tea on who the family really is.
Shortly before Josh’s sentencing, which was on May 25, those close to him sent leniency letters to the judge. His mother, Michelle Duggar, wife Anna, and many others wrote about his character in hopes of getting him a shorter sentence.
One letter also came in from the family pastor’s widow Denise Wilson, who claimed Josh financially supported her. In her letter, Denise wrote, “Josh told me he and Anna were going to support me and my family monthly to keep up my finances. When he told me how much it would be. I was shocked. It was a gracious amount.”
Anna Duggar is accused of being ‘manipulative.’
Now, James Weeks, the son-in-law of Denise, is speaking out about Josh and Anna Duggar.
According to The Sun, James shared a new Facebook post and opened up about this situation. He wrote, “News coverage of Josh Duggar’s sentencing today revealed that my mother-in-law, under the manipulation of Anna Duggar, wrote a letter to the judge asking for leniency in the sentencing of Josh’s child pornography case.”
He continued, “Neither I nor my wife knew she was planning to do so and I feel that our position should be made abundantly clear. My wife and I are in no way in favor of leniency or mercy towards any pedophile.”
Denise’s daughter, Rachel, stated that Josh was “working to make sure he looked like the perfect Christian man to everyone around him”.
She claimed that “obscene levels of brainwashing” led people to believe that he was truly a good Christian husband.
Another one of Denise’s children, Lana, added on Facebook, “Some of the Duggars and their friends, including my mother, have been deceived into thinking that he is somehow innocent and wrongly accused.”
So, it sounds like Denise’s children believe that Anna Duggar truly manipulated her into writing this letter.
