‘Sister Wives’ Fans Sad As Meri Brown Accepts Pathetic Life With Kody
It’s clear that Meri Brown isn’t happy in her marriage to Kody Brown. So why does she stick around? This is one question that many Sister Wives viewers have while waiting for Season 17 to come to TLC.
Sister Wives fans that have been around since the beginning know that Meri and Kody’s marriage really started to go downhill when Robyn entered the family. And now, Meri and Kody might as well not even be married at all.
Meri Brown asserts that she is her very own caretaker
If anyone asks Kody Brown, he would probably say that he regretted his marriage to Meri after the catfishing incident. But was that really what sealed the deal for the married couple?
Meri only engaged with the catfish because she was lacking something from Kody — warmth and emotional intimacy. There had to be a reason that he wasn’t treating Meri well.
And now, Meri Brown firmly believes that she is her own caretaker. She made an Instagram post explicitly saying so.
“‘Who takes care of you?'” the Sister Wives star began her post. “This is a question I’m asked often, and through the years I’ve had different responses, and wanted different answers. And, it’s a question that always makes me think. “In the moments where I’ve felt less confident, I’ve wanted someone else to swoop in and be my hero, and come in to take care of me. In the moments where my inner strength is shining through, oh, you know I got this!”
The post is pretty lengthy, but Meri describes how she learned to prioritize her own care and wellbeing over time.
“I am my own support team and cheerleader. I am my own hero,” she concludes the post.
Fans were really supportive of the message, but they did feel a little sad for her.
“Please get out! You deserve to have a great life! ❤️” wrote one fan.
“That’s a bit sad not gonna lie,” added someone else. “You could find someone that truly loves u and takes care of u, and you’d be happier than u’ve ever been.”

Meri’s relationship with Kody might be dead, but fans do really appreciate her relationship with one other member of the Brown family.
Mosby the dog belongs to Meri’s daughter, Mariah. However, Meri absolutely adores the little dog and spends as much time with him as she can.
