Chris Marek Not Impressed By Tori & Zach’s New Home?
During tonight’s episode of LPBW, Chris Marek and Amy Roloff make the drive to see Zach and Tori’s new home for the first time. Pumpkin season was wrapping up and the couple had been settling into their new home for a few weeks. Amy and Chris thought it was time to head out and see where they were living with their grandbabies. Chris Marek, however, didn’t seem to be too impressed by the new home. In fact, he seemed extremely critical about it.

Chris Marek not impressed by the new home?
As Chris Marek and Amy Roloff made the drive to see Zach and Tori’s new house, he tells his wife he doesn’t see them making the drive very often. He added that the drive just wasn’t very fun. Upon arriving at the house, Chris Marek came hard for the home with some heavy criticism. Amy Roloff was quick to point out that her husband worked in the real estate market. So, he was likely wearing his professional hate while looking at the home. Was he being a little overly critical of the home because he’s a realtor? Amy Roloff seemed to think that might be the case.
After complaining about the drive, Chris noted that the home was in a rather strange location. Likewise, he criticized the home as having absolutely no curb appeal. From the outside looking in, Chris just really didn’t seem that impressed with the home.
Going inside, he did understand the purchase
Chris Marek became a lot less critical of the home once he got inside of it. He noted that the floor plan did make sense for the family. He also understood the rush to buy the home because it was getting more and more difficult to buy a home with some farmland to work within the area.
Amy Roloff was very impressed with the master bathroom and the kitchen. Tori and Zach pointed out the kitchen was set up perfectly for the family as none of the cabinets were up high. Tori noted even the microwave built into the kitchen island was perfect for Zach. Likewise, Tori noted that Zach had no excuses for putting things up with all the low cabinets.
Amy and Chris did agree the floor plan made sense for Jackson and Lilah as they would have plenty of room to run around without having to go up and down any stairs.

I think Mr. Marek should learn 2 mind his own business. What he thinks Abt the home is irrelevant. Zack & his wife made the choice themselves, because of whatever their reasons. Mr. Marek is not Zack’s father, so does not get a say. Even Zack’s mom should not belittle her son’s choice. She should b backing him up. Zack’s mother needs 2 pay attention 2 her son’s feelings & not act like they don’t matter. I applaud Zack & his decision on the house. That kid should cut out all negativity from his life.
Some things don’t need to be put on the social media and cause hard feelings in the family. That could have been just between Chris & Amy.
sounds to me that Chris was looking at value in increase in value being a realtor it just may have come out wrong
Only thing that should matter is if the family is happy in their new home and can keep building their happy family. Anyone can see how amazing the kids are! That only comes from consistent dedicated hard long loving parenting.
They bought a very expensive home next to an excavation business with heavy equipment machinery near. It’s a flag lot. That means they are behind other not so expensive homes. Any agent would have said, “big mistake”.
There are millions dollar homes everywhere not to less expensive homes. Shows you know nothing
Just another story to try and rile people up, Chris is entitled to his opinion and I only took it as him looking thru a realtors eyes. If they had asked Chris to find them a house he would have told them his opinion. Don’t try and bring Chris into a “he’s gotta be a bad guy now and have shit said about him”. He has been nothing but honest and kind to the family so don’t start trying to attack anything he says just to pull him down.
Shows he doesn’t know anything about real estate. There are houses like this everywhere now. You never saw him trying to sell anything on the show. He tried to sell his own property and it took him forever. Million dollar houses next to smaller houses and farmland
Zach and Tori will have to live and learn asking opinion is ok but this was there choice.
And no Caryn is not family so she needs to sit down !!!
Those kids need to make their own decisions good or not. Then if it turns out not so great they have learned a lesson to get a second opinion. If Matt hadn’t been such a horses butt none of it would have happened
