‘American Idol’ Fritz Hager Confirms Leah Marlene Partnership Coming?

Fritz Hager’s music career is just getting started. He spoke to Hollywood Life to talk about his time on American Idol. He plans on “keeping this momentum going.” Fritz also shared the “biggest misstep” of his career.

He managed to make it to the Top 5 and then to the Top 3. The Texas native doesn’t think his career is over just because his time on American Idol ended. He just feels more motivated to start the next chapter of his music career. Fritz also teased that there is something “definitely coming” soon.

First off, Fritz talked about the last few months since he finished Amerian Idol. He took the time to reflect on how he felt about that journey. He’s called it a “crazy” experience, but he’s working on “keeping this momentum going.” Fritz is blocking out “the next couple of months” when it comes to his music career.

He’s currently determining his next move. The American Idol alum said that even when he’s at “home and resting,” he’s trying to figure out ways “to stay in the business.” Fritz also wants to take this time to play live shows.

He also teased that he’s working on his album. In late March, Fritz dropped an EP, which climbed up the iTunes charts. If he’s able to keep that interest going, he’s likely to top the charts yet again. His time on American Idol has sparked fresh ideas in his head and allowed him to write music about the sights and sounds of L.A.

Addresses Leah Marlene dating rumors

Fritz also shared his thoughts on the rumors that he’s dating fellow American Idol contestant Leah Marlene. Both of them had a good laugh about it. They found it weird since it was their first time in the public eye. Though the two aren’t dating, they have become close.

“It’s weird a little bit just because it was our first time being in the spotlight,” Fritz told Hollywood Life. “It kind of cracks us up because it’s just so not that. But she’s great. She’s like my best friend. I think that I think people do want that.”

American Idol fans enjoyed Fritz and Leah’s “Locked Out of Heaven” duet. He teased that there is more of that to come. In fact, they’ve been discussing this partnership since Hollywood Week. Leah also teased that there will be more and Fritz agreed. He said that not collaborating together “would be probably the biggest misstep of our career.”

“With the show happening, we were pretty limited in what we could do,” Fritz explained. “But now that the show’s over, I’m really excited to see what comes from that collaboration. There’s going to be plenty of it.”
