‘RHONJ’: Gia Giudice Heading To ‘Jersey Shore’ Reboot?
MTV’s Jersey Shore reboot might have a face very familiar to RHONJ fans. Could Gia Giudice join the revamped beachy reality show?
MTV announces reboot of two popular shows
May is the time when networks reveal their plans for the upcoming TV season. While several networks chose a bloodbath of cancellations, MTV went a different route.
They announced earlier this week that they are rebooting not one, but two popular shows from the 00s. Additionally, Teen Mom will get yet another spin-off.
The former music channel is rebooting Jersey Shore and The Hills. Both shows were immensely popular with viewers. However, neither of the original casts will return for the reboots.
Deadline reports that The Hills: Next Gen won’t feature OGs Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt or Brody Jenner.
The original Jersey Shore cast is reportedly upset with the reboot. Several of the original stars released a joint statement expressing their displeasure.

But if internet rumors are true, two RHONJ offspring are headed to the Shore.
Gia Giudice joining Jersey Shore reboot?
Shortly after the news broke of the reboots, an insider leaked two potential cast members of Jersey Shore 2.0. Bravo fan account Bravo & Cocktails shared a blind item claiming that MTV has reached out to Gia Giudice and Frankie Catania to join the reboot.
As Bravoholics know, Gia is Teresa Giudice’s oldest daughter. Frankie Catania is the son of Dolores and her ex-husband, Frank Catania.
Gia has been part of RHONJ since the show first premiered in 2009. Bravo fans may not want to believe it, but the starlet just turned 21!
In fact, she took on a more grown-up role on the recent season of RHONJ. Season 12 just wrapped up with a wild three-part reunion. During the season, Gia went toe-to-toe with her Uncle Joe Gorga over his comments about her father, Joe Giudice.
While some fans thought Teresa’s daughter was too young to involve herself in the drama, others hope she’ll become a Housewife in future seasons.
MTV has yet to respond to the rumors that they are pursuing Gia Giudice for the Jersey Shore reboot.
