‘RHOBH’: Kyle Richards Leaving The Show After 12 Seasons?
Kyle Richards is the last remaining OG of RHOBH. She just entered her twelfth season of the series. Yet, is there a chance this one may be her last?
Meeting Kyle And The Cast Of RHOBH
Viewers first met Kyle and her family when the housewives took on Beverly Hills in 2010. Her sister, Kathy Hilton was a household name as were her nieces Paris and Nicky. Kyle had grown up in the spotlight as a young actress on Little House On the Prairie and the thriller, Halloween. Eventually, her focus turned to her family when she got pregnant as a teenager with her first daughter. Her first marriage was short-lived and then she met her second husband Mauricio Umansky. The two went on to have three more children and he went on to have a successful real estate career.
Kyle would occasionally act but was a devoted housewife and mother so was a perfect fit for the new housewives spinoff. She brought along her older sister, Kim and they had fun with altercations. A lot of drama ensued including fights with fellow fan favorite Lisa Vanderpump who departed after Season 9. In Season 11, Kyle’s eldest sister Kathy joined the series after they reconciled. Kyle had created a show loosely based on their mother, American Woman but the cancelation brought the two back together. She has also kept busy with new Halloween movies and a fashion line so is Kyle possibly making her exit?
Staying Or Going?
According to Hollywood Life, Kyle is unsure about whether she will return for another season. For starters, she confirmed she will be in the final Halloween film which comes out this October. More so, she admits she is always up in the air when it comes to returning. This is a common occurrence. “I always say, ‘I don’t know,’ and each season I think, ‘Well maybe I can do one more. And sometimes I’m just like, ‘How can I keep doing this?’ especially when I get really upset, like this last season when we ended.”
At this point, the mother of four is just taking her decision to return day by day. This season has already started with a bang. Dorit Kemsley’s home was robbed on the premiere so the women rallied. As for Kyle, she is trying to be a support while calling out friend Sutton Stracke for a lack of sympathy. As time goes on, she will also clash with her sister Kathy so this is set to be a great season. The ratings are phenomenal thus far so it will be interesting to see if Kyle comes back for a Season 13.
