Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans want to know why the next installment of the show didn’t air on Monday, May 2. There was no known hiatus at the time. It was initially scheduled to appear in its usual timeslot. However, it was changed to a brief hiatus at the very last minute.
This came as a disappointment to the viewers. The last episode showed the second stew Gabriela Barragan leaving the Parsifal III behind. There was also confusion over what happened between third stew Ashley Marti and first mate Gary King. Fans accused her of assaulting Gary while he was inebriated.

Why didn’t Below Deck Sailing Yacht air last Monday?
Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans look forward to a new episode of the series. It’s become the breakout show out of the entire Below Deck franchise. However, it didn’t air its usual Monday night episode on May 2nd. Fans took to Twitter to wonder why a new episode of Summer House was in its timeslot.
They look forward to watching Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Mondays. It helps them get their mind off the Monday blues. A new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht also didn’t stream on Peacock. Even after the news that Bravo will air new episodes the next day on the streaming platform.

Was the reason why a new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht didn’t air on May 2 because of the growing allegations surrounding Ashley Marti? Fans haven’t forgotten about the previous episode. It’s caught controversy because of what happened between Ashley and Gary. Some think she took advantage of him in the Master Suite.
She followed him in there after their crew night out. Ashley gave him a massage and then removed her clothes. Gary told her that he didn’t want to hook up. But, she got on top of him and told him that he was already inside of her and there was nothing she could do.

This was rape! She should be held accountable!!

I too believe it was rape. Had the tables been turned he would have been fired and charged. She should be too. She did it out of jealousy towards Gabriela.
He clearly does not care for her, she needs to at least be fired at the very least if charges are not filed.

As a woman who has been sexually assaulted, I’m horrified that this was tolerated. Ashley has blatantly ignored Gary’s expression of non interest all season. This was premeditated. I hope the last intervenes.
When a woman says no it’s no and when a man says no it’s no. So from a legal standpoint they would charge her with sexual assault.
Ashley is terrible. She needs to be kicked off the show.
Ashley has been forcing herself on Gary since she stepped onto yacht. Gary has rebuffed her advances repeatedly and has never encouraged Ashley’s behavior. She should never be allowed on Below Deck again.
It was definitely assault no means no regardless of what gender you are. Ashley should be held accountable and be forced to leave the show. If the roles were reversed what do you think would be happening?
That being said there is way too much blackout drinking happening. If you can’t remember what you did the night before that should be a wake up call that your drinking is out of control.

This is a perfect example of a woman committing sexual assault on a man. She should be arrested and charged. It doesn’t matter if they were drunk or not. If this had happened the other way around he would have been tarred and feathered by now. There are a lot of people that think a woman can’t sexually assault a man, but here’s an example of how it can happen on televisions all over the world.
I think Ashley has been throwing herself at Gary the whole season! She thinks her large assets are enough but right from the start he told her no, he wasn’t interested. I don’t think they had sex but Ashley wants everyone to think they did, especially Daisy

What Bravo chose to air appeared to be a sexual assault. They gave no warning to the audience and did nothing to address it when thousands of people on the Below Deck Reddit were all agreeing they were shocked, and many, including myself, were triggered by it in an extreme way. If a rape didn’t occur, they shouldn’t have edited it to sound like a rape did occur. If it did, and Gary doesn’t want to pursue it or address it, or doesn’t currently perceive in that way, it doesn’t really matter for the audience. We all heard the recording of a rape on TV, and we deserve an apology and an explanation that isn’t gaslighting or minimizing.
That story makes no sense. Gary sleeps with anything and being drunk isn’t a good excuse. He knew exactly what he was doing. Now people know how girls feel!!
