The drama on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 will get even worse. Tensions are already high aboard the Parsifal III. There’s a love triangle among first mate Gary King, second stew Gabriela Barragan, and third stew Ashley Marti. It was initially between Gary, Ashley, and former deckhand Tom Pearson, who got fired by mid-season.

Plus, Ashley and Gabriela haven’t been getting along in the interior. On Monday’s episode, Gabriela had a panic attack and said she wanted to quit. Fans are wondering if she’s the next to leave. Chief engineer Colin MacRae teased that it will get “nasty” in the latter part of the season.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 is already dramatic

There are already high tensions on the high seas. On the latest episode of the Pita Party Instagram series, Daisy said this season had many storylines whereas last season the couples drama was the main storyline. In Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary was in a love triangle between deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. There was also the off-camera baby drama between Dani Soares and Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux.

Daisy teased that the drama between Ashley and Gabriela will continue to get worse. In the Monday, April 11 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gabriela said she wanted to leave the boat. She struggled with anxiety after having too much to drink the night before. Daisy made it clear that she had to get the information out of Ashley.

“So in Ashley’s defense with this, I drag this out of Ashley. I make her tell me,” Daisy said. “I know that it looks really bad what Ashley did. And of course, it’s never right to break somebody’s confidence like that. But in Ashley’s defense, I knew something was wrong and I really went at Ashley and said, ‘What has been said? I want to know.'”

She could tell the “atmosphere was off” at the time. Daisy feels terrible that she didn’t see the tension between the two sooner. Every time she would ask them about it, they said everything was fine. But then Colin, Gary, or Chef Marcos Spaziani would mention the two stews fighting.

The drama will get “nasty” in the latter part of the season

Below Deck Sailing Yacht returning crewmate, Colin teased during Daisy’s broadcast that the drama on Season 3 will get “nasty.” They talked about the moment in which things get “intense.” Colin loves witnessing the drama. He’s not there to be part of it.

“It starts to get a bit nasty. And it does get a little bit unpleasant,” he explained. “And this isn’t unusual on superyachts. People have conflicts and disagreements. But the way it starts to go is a little bit disconcerting.”

Colin called the next few episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht “quite interesting.” He admits that some scenes have been left it out. There was so much drama this season that the producers could only cover so much. That wasn’t the case during Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht where there were two major storylines going on.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
