Vanderpump Rules alum hits the Best Seller list… Again
Two years after being ‘canceled,’ Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder has a lot to celebrate. She just made the New York Times Best Seller list for the second time.
Her first book Next Level Basic came out in 2019, one year before she was fired from Bravo. The VPR OG was fired in 2020 after former co-star Faith Stowers spoke out about Schroeder’s allegedly racially insensitive behavior.
On a podcast several years ago, Stassi told a story of the time she and co-star Kristen Doute reported Faith to the police for a crime she didn’t commit. The story resurfaced during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement following George Floyd’s death.
Bravo fired both Stassi and Kristen.
However, two years later, Stassi Schroeder is making her reappearance with a new book about the time she was ‘canceled.’
Off With My Head details her experience of getting fired, as well as how she made her comeback. The book was released in April of 2022, and quickly shot to the top of several Best Seller lists, including the esteemed New York Times.
But that’s not the dream come true for Stassi. What else is happening in the television personality’s life?
Stassi Schroeder’s dream finally comes true
Shortly after getting let go from the popular Bravo show, Stassi Schroeder announced that she was pregnant. She gave birth to daughter Hartford in January of 2021.
Viewers watched as Stassi got engaged to boyfriend Beau Clark during Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules. They originally planned a destination wedding in Rome, Italy. However, their plans were thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, they held an intimate, backyard wedding months before Hartford’s arrival. However, Stassi still planned on her destination wedding once overseas travel resumed.
She took to her Instagram Stories to share the exciting news that her dream wedding is finally coming true. Stassi revealed that they are traveling to Italy this week to have a second wedding.
Furthermore, Hartford, 1, will serve as the flower girl for the nuptials.
Adorable throwback of husband Beau’s sweet gesture
Stassi posted two photos on her Instagram Stories about her upcoming wedding. One snapshot featured a keepsake she received “two and a half” years ago for her wedding. The small box has a photo of the happy couple on the front. Inside is a necklace bearing a photo of her grandmother’s wedding day.
The reality star revealed that a podcast listener gave her the gift during her podcast tour before the pandemic. She held onto the precious gift until her dream wedding could happen.
Additionally, Stassi shared a throwback photo of Beau early in their dating life. In the photo, Beau holds up a sign that says “Princess.” According to Stassi, the photo is from a time her now-husband picked her up at the airport.
Stassi has yet to share if any of her former Vanderpump Rules co-stars will attend her destination wedding.
