Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Make Rare Appearance Amid Social Media Silence
For months, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been laying low on social media. They rarely share posts with fans anymore. But now, they have made another appearance. So, what did they post?
Counting On fans have enjoyed keeping up with the Duggar family on social media since their show was canceled last summer. Even before the cancelation, some fans chose to follow them on social media to keep up with them and see what they were doing outside of the show.
However, many of the adult Duggar children stepped away from social media after Josh’s child pornography arrest in the spring of 2021. Leading up to his trial and throughout his trial, some of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children chose to stop posting on social media.
They may have been dealing with the situation behind the scenes, or maybe they didn’t want to receive negative comments related to their brother’s crime.
Jim Bob and Michelle also took time off from their regular social media posts, though they did share some posts while restricting the comments. This is how they could limit the negative comments they received.
Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar resurface online for a big reason.
On Saturday, May 7, Jim Bob and Michelle surprisingly made an appearance on social media. They posted a few photos of their newest grandchild. Jedidiah and Katey Duggar welcomed their first baby, Truett Oliver, to the world about a week ago.
The proud grandparents gushed, “We’re so in love with this sweet little baby boy! Congrats, Jed and Katey! Seeing your joy as new parents is precious!! 💙”
Also in their post, they included Jedidiah and Katey’s photos, as well as their caption with Truett’s weight and length. You can check out the full post here.
Prior to this post, the family last posted in late March to announce Jeremiah Duggar’s marriage to Hannah Wissmann. Their posts before that were very sporadic. It looks like it’s possible that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are only going to be posting the big family announcements, such as weddings and births.
So, do you think Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will soon begin posting on social media regularly? Or do you think they will continue to lay low? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. And for more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.

They should be in prison like josh for all the harm they have done to those children. I am hope the kids move away and have life of their own far away from jimbob.
