Jedidiah & Katey Duggar Welcome First Baby: See Photos
Jedidiah and Katey Duggar are now parents! The couple welcomed their first child to the world and shared some exciting details with Counting On fans. Read on to get all of the details and see the photos of the new little one.
In September 2021, Jedidiah and Katey shared a video of themselves finding out that they were expecting. The video also included the moment where they told the Duggar family that their baby is on the way.
On Instagram, they posted a picture from a photo shoot they did themselves. In the photo, the couple is kissing and holding up a sign that reads, “And then there were 3. Baby Duggar Spring ’22.”
In the caption, they wrote, “She tested positive, but not for Covid. 😉”

Then, in January, Jedidiah and Katey Duggar posted a gender reveal video on YouTube, as well as a couple of pictures on Instagram. They revealed that they are having a baby boy.
In their posts, they never revealed a specific due date, though fans suspected the baby would make his appearance in April or May.

Early on Tuesday, May 3, the baby’s name was leaked on Reddit. This is because somebody who follows Jedidiah and Katey’s private Instagram page shared the post online. This was quickly removed from Reddit, however.
Later on Tuesday, May 3, Jedidiah and Katey posted on their public Instagram page to officially announce the birth of their son.
Jedidiah and Katey also posted a few photos of their new addition. They shared one family photo with fans, as well as a few snaps of their baby boy.
In their post, the proud parents wrote, “He’s here! We love you so much, baby True!💙💙💙 💙Truett Oliver Duggar💙
Born Monday, May 2. 6:34pm. 8 lb 5 oz. 20.5 inches”
They also shared the meanings of his first and middle names:
Truett: “warrior for Christ”
Oliver: “peace”
Fans, friends, and family members are gushing over the newest member of the Duggar family. Jeremiah Duggar’s wife, Hannah, wrote, “Congratulations!!! He is precious! 💙”
