Jim Bob Duggar Likened To Kanye West: Here’s Why
At first glance, you might not think that Jim Bob Duggar and Kanye West have anything in common. However, fans have picked up on a few similarities between the two men. How are these guys similar to each other, and what are fans saying?
One of the more obvious things that Kanye and Jim Bob have in common is that they are both reality TV stars. Kanye appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Kardashians. Jim Bob’s family has been on TLC for years with various specials, as well as shows including 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On.
So, why are fans comparing the two of them? Keep reading to find out what fans are saying about Kanye West and Jim Bob Duggar.
Jim Bob Duggar Likened To Kanye West
In a new post on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, one fan likened Jim Bob Duggar to Kanye West. Fans can submit anonymous confessions about the Duggar and Bates families. This is one of the only times that the Kardashian crew has made an appearance on the Duggar fan page, however.
In the newest confession post, a Duggar fan writes:
“Jim Bob reminds me of Ye West, both tried to be politicians, in love with themselves, alpha males, controlling, biblical, and both belong to religious cults.”
One Duggar fan responds, “Hahahahaha…this is sooo accurate!!! 😂”
Of course, not everyone agrees with this sentiment. Some fans simply don’t see how these two men could be alike. Some are wondering where this idea came from and pointing out that they don’t see any similarities between Kanye West and Jim Bob Duggar after all.
One Duggar fan comments, “I’m no Kanye fan but he’s nothing like that dude.”
Another fan agrees that Kanye comes across as an alpha male, but they don’t see the same characteristics in Jim Bob.
Another Instagram user chimes in, “Kanye is mentally ill. He has Bipolar disorder. Jim Bob is a classic narcissistic white alpha male.”
At this point, not too many fans have weighed in on the discussion. But it seems like they are split between agreeing and disagreeing with this comparison.
