‘When Calls The Heart’ S9, E10: Why Is Lucas In Jail?
When Calls The Heart Season 9 has had some crazy things happen. Moreover, the jail cell has had a revolving door. The last occupant was Mei Sou (Amanda Wong).
It looks like the upcoming episode, “Never Say Never” will see one saloon owner behind bars. What do we know about the circumstances that got him there in the first place?
Here are the clues.
Why Is Lucas In Jail In When Calls The Heart ‘Never Say Never’?
In the upcoming WCTH episode called “Never Say Never,” Hallmark has shared that in this episode, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) don’t see eye-to-eye in how they will share some difficult news with the folks in Hope Valley.
We also know that the oil company executives are in Hope Valley. So is Fiona (Kayla Wallace).
So how did Lucas (Chris McNally) end up in jail? Was he embezzling funds? Could Lucas have made a bad bet? Did Walden set him up? He has been causing Lucas a lot of trouble. Did Walden take Lucas down?
The Clues To Lucas Bouchard’s Downfall
What do we know about Lucas going to jail? We know a little bit, thanks to Hallmark’s videos. First, according to the “Never Say Never” Sneak Peek, we know that Elizabeth was en route to the jail to visit Lucas, she stopped by to see how Rosemary was doing. However, Elizabeth did not reveal any more information. Also, his situation may not be as bad, as she felt it was more important to visit her friend first.
Don’t forget, in the WCTH S9, Episode 10 Preview, we see a distressed Elizabeth, and a frustrated Lucas. The narrator announces, “His innocence is questioned.”
The following scenes indicate that there may be a way to get Lucas out of jail. However, Nathan (Kevin McGarry) may have to compromise to help his former rival. Is he willing to go out of his way for the guy who stole Elizabeth’s heart?
In addition, last week on WCTH, Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) devised a plan. They want to catch Wyman Walden (Wesley Salter). Therefore, Bill suggested that Lucas sell his beloved saloon, The Queen of Hearts.
Could his jail time be related to this sale?
Erin Krakow Shares Photos Of Lucas In Jail, Hearties Have Something To Say
On Saturday, Erin Krakow went to Twitter to show two black and white photos of Lucas (Chris McNally) in jail. She wrote, “Bonus #sps @ChrisMcNally_” Basically, she tagged her co-star and shared the intriguing photos.
One has Lucas In the jail cell, sitting on some sort of stool. His left arm is leaning on his left leg. The second photo is almost identical, except Lucas has moved his left arm towards his face. His chin is stilton on this closed hand. He looks absolutely frustrated.

Elizabeth Visits Lucas In Jail In When Calls The Heart S9, Ep 10
Adding to her jailbird photos, Erin Krakow also shared on Instagram photos of her character Elizabeth looking into the jail.
