The English dub of Demon Slayer Season 2 has been consistently releasing episodes for a while now. The episodes began to reach North America before the Japanese version of Demon Slayer Season 2 had even made it to the conclusion. And now, 3 months after the end of the original version of Season 2, the finale of the English dub is out.

Crunchyroll is the streaming service where you can find this dub if you want to watch. They’re the premier North American anime service. Generally, they have both English dubs and English subtitles for all of their shows. Although some shows only have English subtitles. Netflix also has all of Demon Slayer Season 1 with both subtitles and the English dub.

Some anime fans look down on the practice of dubbing Japanese shows in English. They say it takes away from powerful Japanese voice acting. They also voice concern that sometimes English dubs can remove crucial context for the sake of making sure all of the sentences fit and make sense within the animation. Those are understandable concerns, but at the end of the day people enjoy what they enjoy. Some anime fans just like watching English dubs more than watching with subtitles. Many dub fans say that subtitles can take away from appreciating the animation, due to the amount of time spent reading the dialogue. To each their own. As long as you enjoy the ride.

Season 3, Coming Soon

The teaser trailer for Season 3 came to Youtube recently. It’s an intense, albeit brief showcase of what we’ve already seen and what is to come. In that way, the trailer feels equally as nostalgic as it feels exciting for diehard viewers. It shows that the future for the show is just as promising as what we’ve seen. The trailer shows off that the arc Season 3 will begin with is Swordsmith Village. An arc that is frequently coined as one of the greatest in the manga.

Demon Slayer Season 2 English dub is all out on Crunchyroll now. The Japanese version of Season 3 will begin in 2023, likely early in the year.
